Datacolor SpyderCheckr Photo is your go-everywhere, comprehensive colour reference tool that includes a total of 62 colour targets (30 colours comprised of 6 skin tones and 24 non-skin tone hues, 24 grey scale, 2 large grey scale, 3 white adjustments and 3 black adjustments) in an ultra-matte finish that is preferred by photographers. The robust assortment of colour targets provides for greater colour depth and nuance, for richer detail – ideal for landscape and nature photography. Comprehensive offering of skin tone targets allows for truer and more precise colour, essential in portrait photography, wedding photography, beauty product shoots, etc.

Replacement colour cards for the Datacolor Spyder Checkr. Over time, the colours on your Spyder Checkr colour cards fade due to exposure to any light source. Noticing that the red patch has changed to a yellow-orange colour in the Fade Checkr window at the bottom left corner inside the Spyder Checkr means it is time to replace the colour cards.

Both the Spyder Checkr Photo and Spyder Checkr Video card decks come in padded envelopes for safeguarding. Cards are to be used with either the Spyder Checkr Photo or Spyder Checkr Video ergonomic, protective plastic case to preserve their integrity.

• Has 5 interchangeable, high gloss video color target cards including a patent-pending Color Pattern Card, designed to leverage how video is processed for more precise, nuanced color accuracy. This card has 12 color patches in a unique configuration with a black, grey and white color patch in the middle, plus 6 skin tone tiles. 

• A gradient grey-scale card that includes (2) 11-step grey scale bars, plus 3 solid bars of white, black and 50% grey, to capture every detail. 

• A standard-designed color patch card (useful for hybrid photo work) that includes 12 color patches, 6 skin tone patches and a black, white and 50% grey bar. 

• A solid, neutral grey card for white balance. 

• A focus star card. 

The Spyder Checkr Photo White Balance Card pairs a spectrally neutral white target with an integrated multi-step grayscale strip — giving you precise white balance and tonal evaluation in one compact card. Set custom white balance directly in-camera with a single reference shot, eliminating color casts at the source — no guessing, no endless slider adjustments in Lightroom or Capture One. The integrated grayscale strip lets you evaluate highlight and shadow detail right on set before leaving the location. Compact and universally compatible with any DSLR, mirrorless, or video camera under daylight, tungsten, fluorescent, LED, and mixed lighting. Simply photograph the card, apply the reference in your editing software, and fine-tune tonal values as needed.
